The daily requirement for these compounds for an adult is about 2 g. In most cases it is difficult to get this much omega 3 from the diet \u2013 and that\u2019s why it\u2019s a good idea to supplement them regularly. Don\u2019t wait to take omega 3 fat capsules until you notice symptoms of their deficiency. These might be: dry skin, problems with concentration, lowered immunity or heart diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Prevent health problems \u2013 treat <a href=\"https:\/\/cheers.com.pl\/en\/knowledge\/omega-3-acids-supplementation-2\/\">omega 3 supplementation<\/a> as the best preventive measure. But don\u2019t forget about keeping the omega 3 supply in the diet as high as possible. The most valuable plant-based sources are unrefined oils: rapeseed or linseed types. There is also something else unique about them \u2013 they have an optimal omega 3 to 6 ratio \u2013 these proportions are crucial for maintaining good health. Other ways of getting omega 3 acids from the diet are nuts, almonds, flaxseed, chia seeds or avocado. The plant-based sources contain both <a href=\"https:\/\/cheers.com.pl\/en\/produkt\/omega3-fatty-acids\/\">DHA and EPA omega 3 fatty acids<\/a>, as well as ALA acid.<\/p>\n<p>And what about the omega 6 acids? Their greatest amounts can be found in sunflower, soy or evening primrose oil, as well as pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Of course that doesn\u2019t mean we should stop consuming them \u2013 but in such case it\u2019s a good idea to increase the omega 3 supply. How?
